About

Welcome to Home, Love and Life As I Live It.....My name is Michelle, I'm 37yrs old and married to my high school sweetheart, though it took us being separated for 20yrs to find each other again before we were married. We live in the little town of Busselton in the South West of Western Australia and couldn't be happier. We have 5 children between us ranging in age from 21 down to 3 and a half years old. We just recently moved house and I'm busy decorating with a French/Beach/Coastal theme.
I started my little old blog here in September of 2011 as I wanted an outlet to write about my life and the things I like to do. I hoped to meet like minded people through blogging and am happy to say I have and they are all wonderful people and some have become good friends.
My passions in life would have to be my husband first and foremost followed by the beach...we spend as much time as possible there in the warmer months, refurbishing furniture, I've recently learned how to whitewash and am addicted to it..I like to have a few projects in the works....I've rediscovered my love of photography through blogging and have recently purchased my first DSLR camera and also through Instagram, I love to cook...especially on the baking side of things. I love having a veggie garden and am enjoying having chickens.......I think I've always been a country girl who was raised in the city. I absolutely love my country music and it'll always be playing no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I'm also a lover of everything French and you'll quite often find me leaving quotes in french on my posts....however I always have the english translation there so you know what I'm saying.
I hope to share thoughts, goals, life's journey and any new skills I learn with you all. I believe we can all teach each other something even if we think we can't and if I learn something new then I like to pass the knowledge on.
Over all life is great and while it has it's hiccups now and then I believe the only thing to do is to work through them, get past it and move on as life is too serious and too short to sweat the small stuff as they say. I believe laughter is good for the soul and a simple smile can make someones day.
I hope you all enjoy your time here at Home, Love And Life As I Live It and keep coming back to visit me....please feel free to leave comments, ask questions or send me an email.
Michelle.....xo
